Join us and play tennis in 2021!

In line with the Government announcement on Monday 22nd February, Pangbourne Tennis Club re-opened its courts on Monday 29th March.

Outdoor social tennis has resumed, including singles and doubles, 1:1 coaching and formally organised group coaching.

We are looking forward to welcoming back our members and many new ones! Membership registration is open, see the membership page for details. We have also published exciting adult coaching and junior coaching programmes.

Great news for 2021, we have re-sprayed 2 courts in March and will resurface our main court in June so our members can enjoy truly fantastic facilities!

Fundraising update – New courts in Spring 2021

The Club has worked hard in 2020 to raise the funds required to help with the resurfacing and respraying of the courts.

We are pleased to report that the Greenham Trust has awarded our project a match funding offer! As a result, donations by individuals or local businesses will be doubled through the Trust’s contribution, up to a certain limit.

We are also delighted to announce that our bid to West Berkshire District Council has been successful. We have received a grant from WBDC and this will enable us to carry out the resurfacing of our main court and the re-spraying of the other 2 courts. This is fantastic news and we are very pleased that our members will be able to enjoy fantastic facilities with 3 new courts this summer.

Latest update: with the respraying of the pair of courts now complete, we are pleased to confirm that the resurfacing of the main court will start on May 24th with the court unavailable for 6 weeks. This has been reflected in the booking system.

Coronavirus update: Tennis Courts are now closed

Sadly we must close the courts again during the period of lockdown announced by the Government and starting January 5th.

The code for the padlocks has been changed and access to the courts is not permitted at any time.

We will be in touch as soon as we can reopen the courts.

More information about lockdown restrictions can be found on the LTA website.
